Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-12-18T02:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-12-18T02:12:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: Faint CME observed to the NE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1, and to the NW in STEREO A COR2. In SOHO and GOES coronagraphs, the CME appears as two distinct pieces with an appreciable gap between, yet launch and travel together as one signature, observed in STEREO A COR2 as a narrower front. The source may be a prominence eruption over the NE limb, observed slowly erupting in SDO AIA 171/304 spanning around 2025-12-17T23:00Z to around 2025-12-17T07:00Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Triangulation between SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1, and STEREO A COR2. The CME appears as two distinct pieces to the N and NE with an appreciable gap between, yet likely launch and travel together as one signature from the source prominence, so this anaylsis encompasses the entire eruption as one leading edge feature. |
